I've been away for a while taking care of family things. As I get back into a painting rhythm, I thought I would try to focus on images of the lake. I love the never-ending variability of water and reflections.  In this painting, I wanted to capture the beauty of cattails at sunset using the patchwork paint application process I have been working on for a while.
