Sunflower #10, Acrylic on Watercolor Paper, 14.5"x14.5", $350

Day 11 of the Thirty Day Challenge.  This painting is all about shape, color and mood.  I wanted to go almost entirely abstract without losing the idea of a sunflower.  Instead of starting with the center, I began by creating the patterns and color around the sides.  Then after adding the yellow sunflower form, I went back in and broke up the edges to integrate the two areas a bit.  Lots of fun.
