Sunflower #19

Sunflower #19, Acrylic on Watercolor Paper, 10"x9", NFS

Day 21 of the 30 Day Challenge.  Today I decided to try to push the abstraction.  I like how this turned out but I know that I can do better so I plan to try again. I'm still trying to get at the essence of "sunflower" without actually having to draw it out.  For me, this seems to be a really hard thing to capture.
